The City of Los Angeles, which on April 11, 1929, had already invested more than $18,000,000 in Owens Valley land purchases, will lease back to the original owners all the properties it buys, merely holding water rights to provide control of the watershed which supplies the Los Angeles Aqueduct, it was announced. Here are some properties on a street in Bishop which may be purchased.
