Photograph article dated April 4, 1950 partially reads, "The Transport Indemnity Company of Los Angeles announces the appointment of Gilbert Settle as district agent for San Fernando Valley. The district office is located at 4202 Riverside Dr., Burbank. The organization, a stock company with a capitol and surplus of over $1,000,000, recently purchased all the assets, and assumed all the liabilities of the Transport Insurance Exchange, which operated to successfully for the commercial fleet operators of the Pacific Coast during the past several years. The Transport Indemnity Company will write all forms of automobile and truck insurance as well as workmen’s compensation and general liability coverage."
