Description
Front of postcard depicts a view of the Summit of Mt. Tamalpais and the Mt. Tamalpais and Muir Woods Scenic Railway tracks. The back of the postcard contains a handwritten message addressed to Miss Saide Byrne of San Francisco. The printed caption on the bottom of the back reads, "From West point on the Mt. Tamalpais Railway, showing The Crookedest Railway in the World winding its way. The Tavern of Mt. Tamalpais near the Summit in the Distance." Postmark stamp with date of 1907. Publisher information given as "M. Rieder, Publ., Los Angeles, Cal. No 3543. Made in Germany."
