Photograph caption dated September 27, 1963 reads, "Some 400 students at Hollywood High School 'revolted' at noon Thursday, asserting it was just too hot to return to classes. The students, refusing to go back to class, chanted, 'It's too hot, it's too hot.' However, their principal and police officers convinced them it wasn't hot enough to call of classes."
