A crowd has gathered outside of the Southside Theatre, located at 11243 S. Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles, to see the 1949 film, "My Friend Irma," starring John Lund, Marie Wilson and Diana Lynn.; Built in the late 1940s, the 1,466 seat theater was designed by Clarence J. Smale. The theater later became a church.
