The caption erroneously uses the word "Sylvia." It should read, "Mrs. Gloria Orr, Sylmar burn victim..." Photograph caption dated March 9, 1964 reads, "Air Force flying ambulance crew loads Mrs. Gloria Orr, Sylvia [sic] burn victim, for flight to Army hospital in San Antonio, Tex." The article partially reads, "Mrs. Gloria Orr, 37, of 13180 Foothill Blvd., burned in an explosion on Feb. 29, early Sunday morning was flown to Brooke Army Hospital in San Antonio, Tex., via an Air Force flying ambulance...The plane, with a special burn unit team of nurses and doctors, arrived at Lockheed Air Terminal shortly after midnight Saturday. The team prepared Mrs. Orr for her trip, drove her to the plane in an ambulance, and took off for Texas in less than three hours."; See images #00117522 through #00117523 for all photos in this series.
