Description
Photograph of children in City Park, Chico, ca.1910. At center, three young girls are positioned around a tiered fountain on the walkway of the park. The leftmost girl wears a checkered dress and a bow in her hair. To the immediate right, a second girl wears a large hat and lightly-colored dress and rests her hand on a spigot that extends from the fountain. To the right, the third girl, hatless, does the same. Surrounding the fountain, four pedestals are topped with potted palm trees. A man is visible on a bench in the background.
