Description
This 1961-1962 annual report features several City of Sacramento attractions and redevelopment projects. These popular attractions include the William Land Park Zoo and Fairytale Town. This report mentions the city's projects to address the "blight threat," including razing buildings in the West End and the completion of the Capitol Mall Project. Also featured are architectural perspective illustrations for the American River Water Treatment Plant and the Riverside Water Treatment Plant, which were both under construction during this time.
