Photograph caption dated December 27, 1960 reads, "Carlos trims a tree - Helping to trim live tree was a new experience for Carlos Sicilia, right, exchange student from Argentina, where all inside yule trees are artificial. Enjoying his enthusiasm and comments are his foster brother and sister, Bob and Barbara Boals with Mazie, the cat. His foster parents, during his stay in the Valley, are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Boals, 13445 Wingo St., Pacoima."
