Description
First two story commercial building in Claremont built in 1901 on the northwest corner of First Street and Yale Avenue by the Claremont Improvement Company. A bicycle leans against a power pole in the center and in the background are two houses. Typed on the edges are the names of the families living there. On the left is the "Fairchild Home" and on the right is the "Renwick Home." Typed on the bottom is " Claremont's First two-story Business Block on First St. Corner of Yale."
