Black and white lantern slide showing an illustration of the equipment needed to play the traditional game of nsikwa. The "Ammunition" is drawn as a "piece of broken gourd, with bamboo stem", and the "target" as a "piece of an Indian corn on the cob." The game of nsikwa is a competitive one that aids mental agility, in which the circular ammunition is spun with the intention of hitting the opponent's target. This slide comes from a set on the activities of the King’s African Rifles battalions in Nyasaland. It was originally held by the Church of Scotland, and generated by J.W MacKay.
