Caption dated February 17, 1964 reads, "From this control console Valley listeners will receive educational FM radio broadcasts presented by Valley State College. The new station with call letters KEDC, was officially opened Friday. Here, Dr. Bertram Baer, center, director of the new station, shows the studio control desk to Saul Levinde, left, who donated the station's antenna and transmitter. At the controls s studio engineer Bud Riley."
