Photograph caption dated October 11, 1950 reads "Mapping strategy of Crusade for Freedom campaign in Van Nuys are community's Crusade committee members. Left to right, standing, Vic Peterson, J. E. Preninger, Glenn Nelson and Art Meacham, chairman. Seated are Mrs. Marie Moore, Mrs. Jessie Bangs, Mrs. Emily Bradbury and Mrs. Elsie Hicks." The Crusade for Freedom organization raises funds to aid the cause of freedom and liberty in Europe and elsewhere.
