Photograph caption dated February 2, 1960 reads, "Jimmy Allen, 12, paralyzed when he broke his neck in swimming pool, accepts scrap book of news clippings about him from Mrs. Jean MacNamara, who helped organized benefit luncheon for him at Panorama City market. More than 700 attended. Five thousand tickets were sold. Others greeting Jimmy are Warren Culver, second from right, general chairman of drive; Howard Pickens, right, Union Bank official and trust fund chairman, and Connie Allen, 8, Jimmy's sister".
