Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Post Office, St. Josephs Church, and Electric Tower, San Jose, California, ca.1900. A tall clock tower stands at center with a pointed top as a part of the tall brick building on the corner of two intersecting streets. Further down the street on the left is what appears to be the church. Columns stand in front of the tall entrance with what appear to be bell towers above that present crosses on their tops. The church has a dome-like section that can be seen behind the first building. People crowd the street further down in front of many other buildings while the tall, skeletal electric tower stands above them in the background. A park can be seen in the foreground with statues and a variety of trees.
