Photograph article dated March 10, 1964 partially reads, "Bert Boeckmann has been named president of Galpin Ford, in San Fernando, replacing Frank Galpin who will take over duties as vice president following a vacation trip to the Orient and Hawaii. Boeckmann was formerly general manager and vice president. Galpin established the large agency in 1945. The new president joined Galpin Ford in 1953 as a salesman and moved to the top management position in 1957."
