Supplementary material reads: "TWA public relations dept. Michigan 8141. Friday, September 21, 1951. Eight-year-old Leilani Patrick shown getting well acquainted with Captain F.G. Sargent, pilot of the TWA Constellation that carried her on the first leg of her journey to Frankfurt, Germany, to meet her Army captain father. Travelling [sic.] by herself, young Leilani was scheduled to change planes in New York, boarding TWA's Frankfurt plane at Idlewild Airport tonight. Since she was two years old, Leilani has lived with her grandmother, Mrs. Charles E. Patrick, 3514 Somerset Drive, Los Angeles. She last visited with her father, Captain Thomas E. Patrick, for two days last winter".
