Shown in circa 1950 is K Street, looking west between the intersections of Eleventh and Tenth Streets. Prominent is, in the middle of the frame, the Hotel Sacramento, which was built in 1910. Also notable are the marquees of Gerbitus and Sons Jewelers, founded in 1926, Heeseman's Clothing, founded in 1916, the Fox Senator Theater, opened in 1924, and Ward's, built in 1936.
