Built and patented in Chico in 1872 - the John Bidwell forerunner of all truck and trailer transportation in the United States. Hauled from 15 to 20 trailers, 5 to 7 tons each hauling grain down to the river boats - hence to Sacramento and San Francisco. 12/6/1908, Hal M. Ayres.
