Description
Image of buildings and amusement rides from the piers at Ocean Park in Santa Monica, California. Domes from the Ocean Park Bath House and second Dome Theater on Ocean Front Avenue are seen at far left and center. The Giant Dipper roller coaster on Lick Pier is at right and the Hi-Boy roller coaster on the Ocean Park Pier is at left. Signs for "Marine Furniture Co." and the "Jones Hotel Cafe & Grill."
This is a copy negative (a photograph of another photograph). Title devised by cataloger; date devised by cataloger based on the history of the rebuilt Ocean Park and Lick Piers which had the Giant Dipper and Hi-Boy roller coasters built by August 29, 1925 but also the Lighthouse Slide which is not yet built or visible in this image.
