Description
"Blühende Kalas in Mamre" ("Flowering Callas in Mamre"). In the foreground Calla flowers, a woman standing amidst them, picking some Callas. Behind the woman and Callas tall grass.
The Calla flower: Zantedeschia aethiopica (Lily of the Nile
Calla aethiopica), also commonly known as the Arum Lily naturally occurring forms are white. Endemic to southern Africa from South Africa north to Malawi.
