Description
Caption from September 18, 1986 Sacramento Bee reads, "The Sacramento Zoo demolished part of "Stoneboy" to accommodate landscaping." "Brief Story Summary- Pertinent Facts: Artist Arturo Singh did a ceramic fountain work of art eight years ago. It was placed at the zoo, which later altered it to make room for landscaping. A dispute has arisen as to whether the city can do that. Good story. p.s. Maria Baker, the zoo's administrative assistant will lead photographer to the fountain. She asks that you get there a little before 2p.m. Thanks."
