Description: Sandra Blewett (left) and Lynne Cox, both are marathon swimmers. Blewett completed a crossing of Catalina Channel yesterday in the third fastest time ever--10 hours and 58 minutes. Cox at one time held the world's record for crossing the English Channel. Photo dated September 7, 1977.
