Three-quarters length portrait. 2013-1462. Charles Lefranc was born in France, arrived in California in 1850. Eventually settled in San Jose area growing grapes at New Almaden. Was vineyardist and wine dealer. Died in 1887 due to runaway horse team. Doris Maslach;
