Description
The house ("Haunted House") in which Edwin Powell Hubble and Grace Burke Hubble lived while he worked at the Ballistics Research Lab, 1942-1945. Note in the hand of Edwin Powell Hubble: "Haunted House, Spesutie Island, Aberdeen, Md., 1945." The wooden house stands adjacent to a dirt road, and a brick chimney is visible on the side of the house. A large tree is visible in the foreground.
