A German soldier with bloody hands and bayonet looking over war-torn Europe and across the Atlantic Ocean to America.
Scanned from a positive transparency. Poster was part of the Treasury Department's Liberty Loan bonds publicity campaign used to instill negative feelings towards Germans with the intent of encouraging the purchase of Liberty Bonds.
Microtek Scanmaker 1000XL, 600 dpi TIFF image in 24-bit RGB color. Auto Level image processing applied and compressed into JPEG format using Photoshop CS3.
