Description
"Eighteen varieties of wheat and 14 of barley were grown in three-rod rows replicated five times at Marin Meadows Ranch this year. The ten highest yields will be replanted next year." M.B. Boissevain "A.P. Giannini, prominent San Francisco banker, has donated funds to contribute to farm relief. This new building on the Berkeley campus will cost $500,000 and will be known as Giannini Hall. With the completion of the building, UC will be in position to take care of every phase of agriculture from the moment the farmer looks for land until his crops are placed on the table."
