Photograph caption dated July 24, 1963 reads, "Van Nuys Municipal Court Judge Harry V. Peetris take a two-hand hold on a police service revolver during ceremonies at which Assistant Los Angeles County Marshal Paul C. Gentry awarded the judge an expert shooter's medal. Judge Peetris, a former FBI agent, achieved a perfect score for three months at the Los Angeles Police Department's pistol range. Award was made at the judge's bench."
