Photograph of the freighter Tai Yin entering Los Angeles Harbor, March 16, 1931. The large ship is headed towards the foreground at left. It has a dark-colored hull and a light-colored superstructure. The bridge can be seen at the center of the vessel, with cranes visible at both the bow and stern. A large smokestack can be seen behind the bridge. The name Tai Yin appears on the bow, just aft of an anchor. Another large ship can be seen in the background at left.
