Title supplied by cataloger.; Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Edward G. Robinson, Jr. was born on March 19, 1933 in Los Angeles. He was the son of legendary actor Edward G. Robinson and actress Gladys Lloyd. He was an actor, appearing in a few films and on television series. Robinson, Jr. lead a troubled life and was known for being a playboy. He started drinking as a teenager and got into trouble with the law numerous times after becoming an adult. He eloped at the age of 19, had a daughter, and was divorced a few years later. He was arrested multiple times for charges including check fraud, drunken driving, and assault and robbery. He married twice more and died of a heart attack on February 26, 1974. Photograph caption dated Mar 1, 1952 reads "Separated seven hours by his arrest in Beverly Hills last night, Edward G. Robinson, Jr., son of the actor, and his bride, the former Frances Chisholm, clung to each other in a 2:30 a.m. embrace in Beverly Hills jail after his release on $10,000 bail bond supplied by his relenting father. Robinson, Sr., cut of his son's allowance when he married and declared he would give him no help in getting out of any scrapes." The two are pictured kissing while a uniformed police officer looks on at the Beverly Hills jail. He was arrested for writing a bad check.
