1 column, 21 lines, written on recto along the fibers.
Two hands: 1st (body of petition and date) regular rather large cursive; 2nd (lines 16-18) regular cursive, very smudged.
Margins: top, 1 cm.; left, 2 cm.; bottom, 6.5 cm.
Verso: traces of lines 16-18 (apparently the ink was still wet when the papyrus was rolled from right to left)
Aurelia Tisais, daughter of Kalibalis and Tais, petitions Aurelius Iulius Marcellinus, Centurion, stating that her father and brother had disappeared on a hunting trip. The text is dated to the 25th year of the Emperor Caracalla, the 26th of the Egyptian month Choiak (Dec. 22, 216 A.D.)
