Photograph caption dated October 11, 1962 reads, "Ann Helming Jorgensen, center, discusses her first novel, 'A Woman's Place,' published by Coward-McCann Inc. with Blanche Snider, left, and Mrs. Theodore Flynn, members of the Valley Alumnae of Alpha Xi Delta. Miss Jorgensen will tell of her experiences in writing the novel at the group's membership tea from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday in La Casita, Fashion Square, Sherman Oaks. Mrs. Robert Lampton of Canoga Park, president, will greet guests."
