Shown is a circa 1950 crate label for Capital Pak-brand Bartlett pears. Capital Pak brand was marketed by the Lambert Marketing Company, headquartered in Sacramento. Incorporated in 1931 under William A. Lambert, the company operated plants throughout California, getting much of their pears from growers in El Dorado County.
