The Cho family lived in the Los Angeles area from 1968 - 1978, mostly in North Hollywood. Jai Won and Sang Sook met in Philadelphia, then moved to Southern California together. Jai Won pursued his M.A. in Urban Planning from USC, then worked in architecture while Sang Sook was a nurse at Kaiser Permanente. Their daughters Rana, Dana, and Anna were all born during this time in Southern California. Captured on 8mm during the decade were visits to Busch Gardens in Van Nuys (closed in 1979) with relatives visiting from Korea and Jai Won's graduation from USC.
