Description
The facade of Crocker-Citizens National Bank's regional headquarters building sweeps along the South side of Capitol Mall for the full block between 4th and 5th streets. The structure on which foundation work began in 1962, probably will be occupied formally by the bank sometime next month. Bank spokesmen say the completed building, with furnishing's and equipment, will represent an investment of about $5,000.000. The structure has a lower level and three stories, is designed to take an additional two stories later. The bank and its Sacramento Regional Headquarters will occupy all but the third floor, or about 90,000 of the building's total of 120,464 square feet of area. The project occupies a full city block of the downtown redevelopment area. A two level parking structure, behind the building, lines the N Street side of the block.
