Description
An elderly W.T. "Tooch" Martin sits on a chair in the doorway of a house holding a bow and arrow. Surrounding the doorway are the skins of raccoons, skunks, and other small animals. Above the doorway is a horse shoe. "Tooch" Martin was the first anglo-European resident of Claremont. Written on the back is "'Tooch' Martin 1st Man Claremont," "Stanley Larson," "Used June 53 in Citizens Series." Stamped on the back in black ink is "College Press 129 Harvard Avenue Claremont, Calif."
