Description
Red stagecoach with yellow lettering. "U.S. Mail" on upper side, with "San Jose-Alviso Stage Line" across the side bottom. Banner for "Pioneer Society" hanging over the top. The stagecoach is in the KQW Radio 50th Jubilee parade in 1959 passing by the San Jose Camera shop at 245 South First Street, San Jose. Leonard McKay's notes on reverse: "I believe this is the stagecoach loaned to S.F. 49'ers that was never returned." "Calif. Pioneer Society Radio KQW Parade Radio Jubilee 4/2/1959."
