Supplementary material reads: "Four exclusive shots of the queen of the Calexico Cavalcade. Miss Calexico of 1952 -- She's Louise Taylor, age 17, a junior at the Calexico Union High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Taylor, 532 Dool (cq) Street, Calexico. Mr. Taylor is a retired police officer. The queen will be crowned at 7:30 p.m. tonight by Carolina Tavolazzi, the 1951 queen. Note to desk: The times reps are here but The Examiner was first to find out who the queen is, get her out of school and dressed and out to the pageant grounds for pix. Thus exclusive shots. Bill Milligan".

Mexican dancers and singers performing etc. Official greeters in pioneer days costumes. Mrs. Henriette Keller or 'Ma' Keller as she is locally known clowns with Dave Elmer, Cavalcade executive committee member, and Mrs. Nell and Mrs. Marian Wright. Mrs. Keller is the old babe on the left. Elmer and Eldridge and Wright".
Supplementary material continues: "Horse group -- Ernesto Chavez & George Hill -- leaders of horsemen from Mexicali & Tijuana meet in reenactment of Bautista ride between 2 towns -- met 5 miles out of Mexicali on new Highway connecting cities".-
