Image of a poster announcing a bicycle event performed by the Wilson Bros. at the Hudson Roller Skating Rink. Music at the event was performed by the Hudson Skating Rink Bank with T.J. Manning as leader. The venue was managed by E.S. Locke. Center of the print includes an engraved image of two men theatrically riding a "Star Machine" bicycle, also called the American Star Bicycle or the Pony Star; the bicycle is a reverse penny-farthing. Text includes admission information and a review from the American Roller about the Wilson Bros. Probable date based on newspaper clipping from 1901 with reference to T.J. Manning leading an orchestra. The bike ridden is an American Star Bicycle which dates to around 1880. The announcement poster dates the bicycle event on Wednesday May 21; closest approximate years of that day within range are 1884-1902. "The Hudson Enterprise Steam Job Print." --text, bottom center of print. "Claus Co. Eng. Boston." --text, below engraving.
