Letter from Alice Y. Takesue to Sacramento State College student group, Asian Americans for Action, suggesting Senator Dan Inouye provide the 1972 commencement speech at Sacramento State College. Clipping from the Honolulu Star-Bulletin reads: People in the News. Stamp at top of letter reads: Received June 6 1972 Sacramento State College president's office. Postmarked, addressed, and stamped envelope with return address.
Collection consists of drafts and notes for narratives on Asian Americans, photographs, exhibit items, artifacts, publications, and audio and visual material accumulated by Wayne H. Maeda, instructor and founding member of Asian American Studies at Sacramento State.
