Description
Photograph of painting of automobile traveling along Santa Monica Canyon, showing large view of beach on left, [s.d.]. At center, large rock formations forming part of a canyon can be seen extending to the left. At left, an automobile with two passengers can be seen driving beside a cliff wall. To the right of the automobile, a man and woman walk down the steep road beside a large wooden fence. The man can be seen wearing a wide-brimmed hat while the woman carries a large parasol that covers her entire head. In the extreme foreground at left, at least four small Century plants can be seen. Two of the plants have bloomed as shown by the two large stalks among the cluster. Cacti can also be seen to the right. In the background, a large beach can be seen. Waves near the shore are visible, and a large group of people can be seen as small dots. In the extreme background, large mountains are visible with a group of tall palm trees seen to the far right.
