Spike topped redwood 3 1/2 miles from Cummings Post Office, California. 57" diameter at breast height. 145' to top and above highway. Spike about 30' long. Tree has been filled in about 20' in about 1924. Stands near highway station. 1-619+00. 5-11-37, E.F. (9-12-42: Side branch and vertical projection still intact.)
