Text written under photo: "2571 [with 2227 crossed out] 31st Avenue, home of H.H. Dobbin 1915." View looking southwest, taken from sand hill seen in photo on page 283 top. Children and woman are sitting on the slope of the hill with an umbrella. Officer Stallard is standing near the house looking at the children. His car is visible at the extreme left. A flag is flying in front of the Dobbin residence. A few more houses are in the immediate vicinity, otherwise the area consists of sand, scrub, and a few groves of trees.
