Photograph was edited for publication purposes Pictured is Horace Stinson, principal of the Sven Lokrantz Elementary School in Reseda. The four-month-old, $804,000 school is listed officially as the newest of the Los Angeles city school system's six elementary schools for physically handicapped. It was constructed in the shape of a large wheel with the classrooms, auditoriums and therapy facilities extending from the hub-like spokes. Sven Lokrantz has 134 physically handicapped pupils enrolled, including 66 with cerebral palsy, six post-polio, five hemophiliacs, eight with congenital heart disease, two with muscular dystrophy, and others with arthritis, epilepsy, brittle bones among others.
