Description
Don Buchanan of Division of Highways checks depth of ridges being cut in Hollywood Freeway at the dangerous Cahuenga Pass area. This is one example of the continuing work being done in the area to try to reduce the number of accidents in "Slaughter Alley." Ridges will give traction to cars when the freeway is wet and slippery. Photo dated: February 12, 1966.
