Description: Wine cellar at unidentified winery. The bottles on wine racks in the foreground are set at an angle. The bottles on the shelves in the background rest horizontally.
Setting wine bottles at an angle is said to prevent ullage and maintain contact of the wine with the cork, to prevent the cork from drying.
Scanned with Microtek Scanmaker 1000XL Pro; as a 600 dpi TIFF image in 8-bit Grayscale. Auto Level image processing applied and compressed into JPG format using Photoshop CS3.
