Description
A Northrop Beta plane (foreground) and another plane at United Airport (Bob Hope Airport) in Burbank. Just like Northrop's other early planes, the Beta has landing gear with streamlined coverings extending down from the fuselage with the wheels sticking out from the bottom. Powered by a P.W. Wasp-300HP engine. Photo dated: October 9, 1931.
