View of a bridge across the U.C.L.A. campus, 1928. This was the axial link between the main quad and other buildings across an arroyo. The first structure built on the Westwood campus was constructed in a northern Italian Romanesque Revival style, with double course of blind arches. The arroyo was subsequently filled in and the bridge buried.
