The Buena Vista library opened in July 1948 and served the community for over 50 years. A new Buena Vista library opened across the street at 300 N. Buena Vista St. in 2002. In this photo, signs at the original construction site read: “Site of Buena Vista Library, City of Burbank” and “M. J. Brock & Sons, Contractors.”
