Description
Photograph caption dated September 22, 1958 reads "Aided by an excellent two-on-one block on an unidentified Beaver, University of Southern California Trojan left halfback Rex Johnston scampers for plenty of yardage against the Oregon State Beavers last night. The two teammates giving him help in chewing off the yardage are Frank Fiorentino (62) and Hillard Hills [sic] (80). In the background is Willie Wood (16), the quarterback who engineered the first two Trojan touchdowns in a stunning 21-0 upset of the favored Beavers." The game was held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
